Deborah A. (Daniels) Cieplinski, 74, of Exeter Township, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2026, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the devoted wife of the late Stanley E. Cieplinski, Jr, for over 40 years. Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Edward S. and Florence R. (Horowitz) Daniels.

Debbie graduated from Mt. Penn High School, class of 1969. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Cedar Crest College and graduated from Lehigh University, where she obtained her Master's Degree in Education. Debbie was a teacher for the Berks County Intermediate Unit for several years, working with children who had special needs, until she stepped away from public education to raise her daughters.

Debbie made it a point to continue teaching by privately tutoring out of her home, helping students mainly in mathematics. All of her students appreciated her patience and encouragement, and Debbie would often remain in contact with students over the years due to her genuine support and caring nature.

Debbie was very social in the Reading and Exeter communities. She was a member of Kesher Zion Synagogue. She was a lifelong reader and enjoyed needle-point, crossword puzzles, music, the theater, and going out for dinner with friends and family. She especially looked forward to her seasonal membership to the Reading Symphony Orchestra and watching her daughter Christine on stage.

An animal lover and admirer of nature, Debbie was fond of sitting on her porch listening to and watching the birds, looking out for local wildlife, and taking regular walks through the neighborhood. She cherished her four Yorkshire Terriers - Toastie, Obie, Cedric, and Douggan, and her precious cats Clementine and Josie, all who predeceased her.

The heart of Debbie's life revolved around her family. Taking trips with her family, especially cruises, brought Debbie much joy. She reveled in seeing her three daughters grow and flourish, and she loved her grandchildren with all her heart. A generous and kind person, Debbie always looked for ways to help others and to bring smiles to their faces. Her thoughtfulness and generosity will be remembered infinitely.

Debbie is survived by her children; Christine Cieplinski, Jessica Cieplinski (Tom Williams), and Stephanie Sutorius (Kevin). She is also survived by her grandchildren; Piper, Phoenix, and Evey, her sister, Sue D. Farrara (Michael), her nephew, Steve Farrara (Erica), her niece, Emily Richardson (Aaron), and her great-nephew and nieces, Landon, Margot, and Eleora.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2026 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with services beginning at 11:00 am at Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading, PA 19606. Interment will follow at Kesher-Zion Cemetery, 1051 Philadelphia Avenue, Reading, PA 19607.
