Sandra L. Day (Jones)

Sandra L. Day, 72 of Wyomissing Park passed away November 2nd, 2013 in her residence surrounded by her loving family . She was the wife of James H. Day. Born in Reading she was a daughter of the late Irvin L. and Elsie M. (Ritter) Jones. Sandra was a member Christ Lutheran Church in Glenside and worked for R.M. Palmer Candy for many years. She was also a caregiver for Comfort Keepers and later continued to be a caregiver privately. In addition to her husband, Sandra is survived by: One Son: Paul J. Tibbetts husband of Tracy of Wernersville; Four Daughters: Teri L wife of Keith Tademy of Laureldale, Lori J. Tademy companion of Kevin Jordan of Reading, Ami L. Day and Holli A. Day both of Lower Alsace Township; Eleven Grandchildren, Six Great-Grandchildren and One Sister: Jean A. Pietrantonio of Reading. She was predeceased by a grandson, Zachary A. Day. Services will be held at Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Ave, Mt. Penn on Friday November 8th at 10:00 am. Friends may call from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday evening November 7th. Interment in Beckers-St. Peters Cemetery. In Lieu of Flowers, Contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
