David L. Gebhard Sr., 75, of Exeter Township, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026 in his home. He was the husband of Kathryn M. (Berndt) Gebhard, with whom he celebrated 57 years of marriage. Born in Pottstown, PA, he was the son of the late Daniel and Eva (Mohn) Gebhard. David attended Pottstown High School. He was a truck driver for Allied Van Lines for many years. He also owned his own business building swimming pools. In his retirement he enjoyed building furniture and attending craft shows and flea markets. David was a member of Gateway Community Church, Mertztown.

In addition to his wife Kathryn, David is survived by his children; David Gebhard Jr., husband of Tara, Sherry Epler, wife of Jay, Daniel Gebhard, husband of Sheila, Mindy Keim, wife of Allen, and Danielle Lomnychuk, wife of Jonathan. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and his brother Gary Gebhard, husband of Esther. David was preceded in death by his siblings; Emily, Eydie. Blaine, Robert, and Herbie.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with services beginning at 11:00 am at Gateway Community Church, 245 Fredericksville Rd., Mertztown, PA 19539. In lieu of flowers, contributions in David's memory may be made to the church at the above address. Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., has been entrusted with arrangements.
