Daniel L. Quinter, 78, of Reading, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2026 in his home. He was the husband of Donna F. (Dunlap) Quinter, with whom he celebrated 57 years of marriage. Born in the city of Philadelphia, PA, Daniel was the son of the late Daniel A. and Mamie O. (Reich) Quinter. Daniel graduated from Muhlenberg High School, class of 1965. He proudly served his country in The United States Airforce. Daniel was an environmental systems controller for many years until his retirement. He frequently attended Abundant Life Church, Birdsboro.

In addition to his wife, Daniel is survived by his children; Melissa M. Quinter, Daniel D. Quinter, fiance of Hannah, as well as his grandchildren; Zachary and Nichole, and his great-grandchildren, Mason and Damian. Daniel was preceded in death by his brother John Quinter.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with services beginning at 11:00 am at Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading, PA 19606.
