Cathy Jo (Howe) Godek

Cathy Jo (Howe) Godek, 69, of Philadelphia, formerly of Exeter, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2025. Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph I. and Rosanne M. (Balsbaugh) Howe. Cathy graduated from Mt. Penn High School and R.A.C.C. with an Associate's Degree. She was a member of Trinity U.C.C. of Mt. Penn.

Cathy is survived by her three daughters: Tiffany A. Mell, wife of Jason, of Exeter; Jessica L. Godek, wife of Daniel Brockway, of South Carolina; and Ashley J. Godek, partner of Brian Archibald, of Bermuda. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Isaac and Madalyn Mell; as well as her brother, Stanley Howe, and many cousins and extended family.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, with services beginning at 11:00 am at Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading, PA 19606. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 390 W Neversink Road, Reading, PA 19606.
