Gerald Leroy "Jerry" Brown

Gerald "Jerry" Leroy Brown, 85, of Muhlenberg Twp., passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, in Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Barbara (Shaeffer) Brown, of Muhlenberg Twp., with whom he celebrated 61 years of marriage. Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Leroy C. and Esther (Romig) Brown. Jerry graduated from Reading Senior High School. Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a member of Camp Chilly Deer Camp, and a long time patron of Tuckahoe Acres Resort. Jerry was a tool and dye operator at Polymer for over three decades until his retirement.

In addition to his wife, Jerry is survived by his children; Eugene M. Brown, of Florida, Gerald L. Brown Jr., of Reading, Jody L., wife of Charles Miller, of Lebanon, and Joel L. Brown, of Reading. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Mandy, Kristy, Dakota, and Jennifer, as well as five great-grandchildren.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Monday, February 28th, 2022 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with services beginning at 11:00 am in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Avenue Mt. Penn, PA 19606. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Dementia Society of America, PO Box 600 Doylestown, PA 18901.
