Brian M. Hayes

Brian M. Hayes, 68, of Reiffton, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025 at the Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Linda A. (Natale) Hayes, with whom he celebrated 46 years of marriage. Born in Erie, PA, he was the son of the late Clarke H. and Ruth (Burns) Hayes. Brian graduated from Strong Vincent High School. He was the owner of Brian M. Hayes & Associates Inc. Insurance & Investments for 46 years. Brian was an avid golfer, who frequented Moselem Springs, Mulligan's Pointe, and Mid South Country Clubs. He loved baseball, and from 1993-2020 he owned and operated the Exeter Cardinals Baseball Club. He made a tremendous impact on Berks County Amateur Baseball and beyond. Brian was a past president of The Reading Association of Life Underwriters. He was a qualifying and life member of the Million Dollar Round Table. In addition, Brian was a long time board member of the city county baseball league. His impact on the community has been far reaching, and he was so proud of his family. He was never afraid to tell you the way it is, and would do anything he could to help anyone in need.

In addition to his wife Linda, Brian is survived by his children; Brian M. Hayes II, Brent Hayes, and Brooke Majano, wife of Jose. He is also survived by his granddaughter Avery, his granddog Mahomes, as well as his brothers; James Hayes, husband of Colleen, of Erie, and Bruce Hayes, husband of Jo, of Lititz, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Mark Hayes.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Monday, December 8, 2025 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading, PA, 19606.
