Anne M. Becker (Haggerty)

Anne M. (Haggerty) Becker, 67, of Mount Penn, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021, in Good Shepherd Specialty Hospital. She was the wife of the late Glenn B. Becker, who passed away December 12, 2014. Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late John F. and Darlene (Funk) Haggerty. Anne was a graduate of Mount Penn High School in 1972. She was a volunteer for the Mount Penn Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and ran ambulance with the Lower Alsace Ambulance Association, as well as Houck Ambulance Service. Anne was a custodian for the Antietam School District for many years.

Anne is survived by one brother, Richard J. Haggerty of Exeter. She is also survived by two nephews; William J. Haggerty, husband of Lorraine T., of Exeter, and Patrick J. Haggerty, of Muhlenberg Township, as well as one great-nephew, Steven Haggerty, and one great-niece, Tiffany Evans. Anne was predeceased by her twin sister Susan M. Haggerty, who passed away December 8, 2016.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with services starting at 11:00 am in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading, Pa 19606.
