Alma M. (Fisher) Loeb

Alma M. (Fisher) Loeb, 97, of St. Lawrence, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025 in the company of her loving family. She was the wife of Ralph S. Loeb, who passed away in 1990. Born in Bechtelsville, she was the daughter of the late Elton and Berda (Miller) Fisher. 

Alma graduated from Boyertown High School and from Reading Hospital School of Nursing as an LPN. She worked as a Dental Assistant with Dr. Harold Wegman for many years until her retirement. 

Alma was a member of the Woman’s Club of St. Lawrence, was an avid quilter, and loved sewing. She also enjoyed reading and playing cards with her friends. Alma was a member of Schwarzwald UCC and was known for coating Easter eggs at the church for over 60 years! Alma also served as precinct judge of elections for St. Lawrence for several years. 

Alma is survived by her children, Allen R. Loeb (husband of Mary Jo), Diane M. Resh (wife of Daniel), and Brenda L. Lambert (wife of Hal). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren: Karen, Jennifer, Michelle, Melissa, Douglas, Cole, and Sienna, as well as 8 great-grandchildren: Camille, Shane, Allison, Trey, Nolan, Vejas, Leukas, and Lexi. Alma is also survived by her sister, Miriam Fariello, and was preceded in death by her sister Ruth Webb.
