Barbara Sigal

Barbara A. Sigal, 82, of Exeter Township, passed away Monday, February 20, 2017 in Elmcroft Senior Living. She was the widow of Michael R. Sigal who passed away November 28, 2002. Born in Trenton, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Karl R. and Sara (Fahrenbach) Friedmann. Barbara was a graduate of Mt. Holyoke College in Massachusetts, was very involved in Girl Scouts, enjoyed gardening, reading and traveling with her late husband. She was a computer programmer in the early 1960's before concentrating on raising a family. Barbara is survived by a son, Willard D. Dennis husband of Sandra P., and a daughter, Sara K. Zizza companion of William Becker, Jr. both of New Jersey; four grandchildren; a step-son, Andrew Sigal of Exeter Township and a brother, Karl R. Friedmann, Jr. of Arizona. Visitation with family and friends will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2017 in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Ave., Reading, PA 19606. Interment private.
