Barry S. Kozik

Barry S. "Rudy" Kozik, 66, of Reading, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2016 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center. Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Stanley and Angela (Bonk) Kozik. Barry was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and was a United States Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Catharine of Siena R.C.C. Papa K enjoyed life to the fullest and loved his polkas, lobster tail and a good manhatten. Barry was employed by Car-Tech and later employed by Lucent Technologies. He is survived by his ex wife Joan A. Kozik, one son, Donald S. Kozik husband of Kristin of Exeter Township; three daughters, Sarah A. wife of Ben Swisher of Wyomissing, Kara A. wife of Christopher Shiery of Sinking Spring and Mary Jo wife of Barry Suski of Shillington; grandchildren, Cody, David, Grace, Zachary, Jackson, Addisyn, Luke, Brian, Nicholas and Gabriella; one great-granddaughter, Viviana and one sister, Barbara Grebloskie. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Monday, December 12, 2016 from 7:00-9:00 pm in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Ave. Mount Penn. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 beginning at 10:30 am in St. Catharine of Siena Chapel, 2427 Perkiomen Ave. Mount Penn.
