Carl C Bechtel

Carl C. Bechtel, 89, of Exeter Township, passed away, Tuesday, April 12, 2016 in Golden Living Center . He was the loving husband of Margaret L. Bechtel. Born in Monacacy, he was a son of the late Carl W. and Sarah (Manwiller) Bechtel. Carl was an active member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Gibralter as well as many community organizations throughout his life. Carl was also a proud member of the United States Army during World War II. He was a Tow Motor Operator for Firestone in Pottstown for 34 years and then worked as a Security Guard for Pagerly and Vincent Smith. Carl is survived by his three sisters Pauline M. widow of George Suchomelly, Dawn E. widow of Richard Parzanese, and Carol L. widow of Gail Romig all of Exeter. He was pre deceased by one sister Patsy.
